Brenda always has loved art. As an artist she decided to follow heart, and pursue her dreams of becoming a Cosmetologist as her short term Career goal. After her high school diploma, she completed Marinello Schools of Beauty in 2003. While working at a few independent salons, she decided to expand her knowledge of beauty at Make Up Designory MUD,in Burbank 2004. Received a Beauty Course Completion Certificate.
Brenda did not like her experience working for independence salons, she applied at Premier Salons and was given a great opportunity of becoming an assistant manager in Burbank, Sears. Premier Salons was a Canadian chain salon company inside Sears and Macy’s Department stores. Brenda was very goal oriented and did what was best for the company from building clients, monthly order, inventory, manager meetings and more! She was recognized for her efforts in customer service and was promoted as a Manager. Brenda always knew she had more goals to pursue, Interior designing and Fashion Designing. Furthermore, her efforts and credits of transferring to Woodberry to complete her four year degree was put on hold because of another promotion as a Group Manager and Director. She always wanted to meet the CEO Of the company, working closely with the VP of the company she was given a special invitation, October, 2010 was the Survivor Cruise Meeting to finally meet Brian the CEO on a nine day cruise to the Bahamas. As a Director, Brenda was given up to twelve salons to oversee on level of performance. While in the process low performing salons had to be closed down as her responsibility.
In 2012, Brenda’s life changed by becoming a mother, it was hard for her to completely let go of work. However, she knew that her baby was the most important part of her life. Brenda then decided, working part time and seeing loyal clients were best for a while, in between raising her son. She also did some research in cosmetics and started her own private lipstick collection. Brenda never liked being too comfortable, because she believed being comfortable will not allow you to grow. It was time to make future changes, after her son was three years old, she decided to invest in her own salon, with the help and support of her husband. September1, 2015; she signed her lease and started to use her interior designing skills and ideas to complete the ambiance of her salon. Black, Gold, and Ivory to be her primary choices, with functional rooms, and space. Her dream came true, with hard work and dedication anything is possible!
